{"id":192565,"date":"2019-10-29T21:17:20","date_gmt":"2019-10-29T21:17:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tenerifecenter.com\/info\/documents\/"},"modified":"2023-03-13T17:29:02","modified_gmt":"2023-03-13T17:29:02","slug":"documents","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/tenerifecenter.com\/nl\/info\/documents\/","title":{"rendered":"Documenten"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Obtaining a NIE number (TIN)<\/h2>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n  <li>completed NIE application;<\/li>\r\n  <li>fee payment confirmation stamped by the bank;<\/li>\r\n  <li>original and photocopy of your passport or other identification document;<\/li>\r\n  <li>in case of a legal representative corresponding identification documents need to be enclosed.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<p class=\"italic\">*The NIE application procedure is subject to change by the corresponding authorities.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2>Open a Spanish bank account<\/h2>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n  <li>a valid passport,<\/li>\r\n  <li>a copy of NIE number,<\/li>\r\n  <li>sale and purchase contract or a confirmation of the reserve made on property (in case the bank specifically\r\n    asks for it)\r\n  <\/li>\r\n  <li>proof of income documents<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<h2>Documents required for a mortgage in Spain:<\/h2>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n  <li>2 personal tax returns.<\/li>\r\n  <li>Work contract.<\/li>\r\n  <li>Last 12 months personal bank statements showing day to day activity<\/li>\r\n  <li>Certification of property free of mortgage lien in the country of residence<\/li>\r\n  <li>Employer\u2019s reference and or contact of employment.<\/li>\r\n  <li>Copy of a personal credit file and or annual debt statements<\/li>\r\n  <li>In some cases references from the bank may be required<\/li>\r\n  <li>Other documents confirming additional sources of income, such as:\r\n    lease contracts, income certificates and other documents a bank may consider necessary when applying for a\r\n    mortgage over 500.000\u20ac.\r\n  <\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<p class=\"italic\">\r\n  *Banks reserve the right to request any documents they consider necessary.\r\n<\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>All documents must be translated into Spanish with a corresponding apostille\r\n  (a form of document certification in accordance with the provisions of the Hague Convention of 5 October 1961),\r\n  or they must be legalized by a Spanish Consulate, or by a certified Spanish translator (traductor jurado).
